So today marks the first all thumbed post. I just installed wordpress for the iPod touch and I am giving it a inagural spin. I’m not sure how my typical word craft will translate, since the spell checker is absent, and my thumbs are far less dexterious than the rest of my digits.
To be blunt, one thing that may kill my credibility is that I normally do a lot of referencing during my writing. As a normal writer would check a dictionary or thesauras, I check sources like wikipedia, google and various other online avenues to make sure my typing doesn’t come off as inane blathering.
I’m sure I fail at least 30 percent of the time (possibly more), as I usually get mixed responses about my writing. Luckily I have chosen a medium that allows me to hide from literary scrutiny, and bask on friendly pats on the back for my efforts.
Never the less, this blogging thing is one way I can sharpen my teeth and practice my fairly pretentious prose, an get away with it.

Excellent Jaron. I didn’t know you had a music blog! I’m very excited to start following your foray into Montreal music life. I started a music blog about a month ago (only two entries so far — maybe three, depending on when this finds you) and I’m trying to break into the Vancouver music scene and be at the forefront of it’s seemingly endless waltz with hipsters (of which I’m not a part of), but get to the music first
Anyway, good luck with your iTouch blogging, and may the touch be with you.
But hopefully somewhere where your bathing suit doesn’t cover, rather than does.
