Good afternoon sexy hipsters, I’ve decided that while weather is important, there are more pressing issues at hand. Namely: Music, Art, getting drunk and other. Please note that I do know that there is a war in Gaza, this is however not a political blog.
Concerning the last post about the Bluedog Motel and “Nightvision Wednesdays”, I must report that it was a very good time considering the intense amount of snow that fell during the day. The alcohol was cold, and the music was hot, so everything seemed to even it’s self out. Joey P. took some fantastic shots of everyone enjoying 2 dollar drinks. (until 11, then they went up to 3, then 4)

Looking at the pictures I am fairly certain everyone had a great time and will be back for this week’s installment. Check out the facebook group and event.

In other news, a nice lad from Montreal State of Mind dropped this piece of information for everyone who just loves photography:
In its 4th year, the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward project showcases the work of emerging photographers from around the world. The 2008 edition is the strongest yet and hints at the future of photography and, most importantly, will be exhibited in Montreal ! Although the exhibition is up as of the 14th, the vernissage is only on Thursday the 15th, at Galerie Art Mûr. Be sure to check it out as some of Montreal’s finest are part of the show: both Nik Mirus andGuillaume Simoneau are winners this year. Congrats !

Sounds amazing yes? Check out Montreal State of Mind for way more updates than my sorry ass can produce, and they sell cool stuff too.
That’s it for me, be happy and don’t forget to drink your Ovaltine.
